Alumni Spotlight: John Whitehead, class of 2004

After graduating from TCA, John pursued playing baseball at Jackson State Community College then at Covenant College where he graduated with a degree in Sports Management and Business. After working for the Jackson Generals for a year, he decided to attend Union University, where he met his wife Becky, and earned a Masters in Education. He began his coaching and teaching career at TCA (2009-2012), then moved on to North Side (2012-2014) and Madison Academic (2014-2015). In 2015, John and his wife, Becky, moved to Colorado to help launch Storyline Church in Arvada, CO while he continued to teach and coach. John now serves as the head baseball coach at Boulder High School in Boulder, CO. John's family has now grown to a family of 4 with a 4 year old son and a baby girl due in June. Congratulations John on your accomplishments and your beautiful family! You make TCA proud by your example of using your gifts and experiences to share the hope of the Gospel and your Biblical worldview to the community where God has called you in Colorado!
