Carroll Academy Game, a TCA Tradition - Recap

Tuesday, Jan. 30th, TCA Lady Lion and Lion Basketball teams hosted Carroll Academy for a 1:00 pm matinee game. This is our 16th year to host this game with the Carroll Academy Jaguars. Carroll Academy is an Adolescent Intensive Day Treatment Program operated by the Carroll County Juvenile Court and licensed by the State of Tennessee. They serve the Juvenile Courts of Carroll, Henry, Henderson, Weakley, and Benton counties who order students to their program until they complete a behavioral plan. Each student receives counseling, balanced meals, appropriate educational services, family intervention, and group life skills training.

ESPN released a documentary on their program called Outside the Lines - Losing to Win: The Carroll Academy Lady Jags Basketball Team. Click the link to check out their story here.

This is one of the few days that Carroll Academy students will have someone on their side encouraging and cheering for them. Even grades wear purple to cheer for TCA and odd grades wear green/black to cheer for Carroll Academy. We have a great opportunity to show the love of Christ to Carroll Academy Lady Jags and Jags.
