Coach Dexter Williams to receive the 2025 TIAAA Athletic Director of the Year
TCA Head of School Judy Brown is honored and excited to share that Coach Dexter Williams, Athletic Director and Varsity Head Boys Basketball Coach at Trinity Christian Academy, has been selected to receive the 2025 TIAAA Athletic Director of the Year from the Tennessee Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (TIAAA) at the upcoming state conference this April.
Benji Gray, Awards Chair of the Tennessee Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, commends Coach Williams’ receipt of this award as a recognition and testament to Coach Williams’ commitment to professional development, educational-based athletics, and the school community. Coach Williams' tireless efforts in supporting student-athletes have not gone unnoticed by the TIAAA or his peers. This is a well-deserved acknowledgment for Coach Williams because of exceptional leadership.
This award may be presented annually to an athletic administrator from the state of Tennessee with three or more years of experience as an athletic administrator and who has demonstrated involvement in their school, community, and professional organizations beyond their prescribed daily duties. Deserving recipients act with professional excellence and maintain athletics as an integral part of the total education program. He/She shall administer an exemplary athletic program, using school and community resources and involving as many students as possible.
The TIAAA award ceremony will take place during the state conference on April 13, 2025.
