Pride Tribe Kick Off

Each Fall at TCA, we kick off a new year in our Lower School Discipleship Groups, known as Pride Tribes. These groups have a special ceremony where all Kindergartens and all new Lower School (1st - 5th Grade) students are sorted into their tribes. During this event, students walk up to a giant gum-ball machine and the color of the gum-ball they receive is the tribe they will be sorted in and stay in throughout the duration of their time in Lower School. Pride Tribes meet during Chapel hour once a month (typically the first Thursday of each month) for mission projects, deeper discussion into our verse and theme for the year, and for fun team building exercises. After students receive their Pride Tribe shirts, they wear these each time there is a Pride Tribe Chapel day with uniform bottoms.
