Student Spotlight: Mary Shaw, National Merit Semi-Finalist

Trinity Christian Academy is extremely proud to announce that Mary Shaw, Class of 2025, is a 2025 National Merit Semi-Finalist.

The 2023 PSAT/NMSQT served as an initial screen of over 1.3 million entrants to the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program.  Semifinalists are the highest scorers in each of the 50 states and represent less than one percent of each state's high school seniors.

These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for over 2,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered next spring. Merit Scholar designees are selected on the basis of their skills, accomplishments,and potential for success in rigorous college studies, without regard to gender, race, ethnic origin, or religious preference.

We are so proud of Mary and her hard work.  We want to congratulate her for this wonderful accomplishment and wish her the best of luck in the next stage of the National Merit Scholarship Program.
