Lighting of the Christmas Tree Recap

Last week at TCA, we held our annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree chapel. Students in Little Lions 3 through 12th Grade enjoyed time around the tree singing carols and remembering the reason we celebrate. Mrs. Brown, Head of School, read the Christmas story and shared with students how this special time of anticipation of Christ birth during advent is a time to reflect on all He has done for us. Upper School choirs led us in the song “Light of the World” by Lauren Daigle then led our students and faculty in singing the carol Silent Night. This tradition at TCA is an annual favorite of students and faculty alike. May we all head into the Christmas season remembering the greatest gift we could ever receive that was given on the first Christmas, Jesus Christ, our Savior and the Light of the World.
